Next up is a new Digital Resource deemed “Verium Reserve”. Verium will provide a new to twist to Proof of Work with its own unique Proof of Work protocol appropriately called Proof of Work-Time.

Proof of Work-Time or (PoWT) will consist of a variable block time, a much lower supply ratio (~10X more scarce than VeriCoin), will initially disincentive the normal PoW computational power “arms race” – allowing a fairer distribution and will also offer unique mining incentives in both Verium and VeriCoin rewards.

After its initial launch, (and when the PoWT protocol is stable), Verium will be “coupled” alongside VeriCoin via auxiliary merged mining, gradually but over time, significantly increasing VeriCoin’s overall value, transaction speed, network security and helping to resolve the current PoW scalability problem.
