How to forge Lisk & earn ~12k LSK per month

Links & commands !

– Register an account and setup a VPS on https://www.vultr.com/

– Open “Terminal” -on Mac- or “Run” -on PC-

– ssh [email protected] – your vps IP

– Enter the password you find on the Server Info on the Vultr Site
Prepare your server to instal Lisk https://lisk.io/documentation?i=lisk-docs/PrereqSetup Only do step 1,2,3,5,6

-Login to the user you will use to run Lisk.

su – lisk

– Download the install script.

– Execute the install script.

bash installLisk.sh install -r main

– Point your browser to your servers IP and add :8000 to create an account using your node

– Create a new account and SAVE THAT PASSPHRASE

– I repeat, save that passphrase

– Login to your new account and fund it with at least 25 LSK so you can register as a delegate. Include the 0.1 tx fee, so send 25.1 minimum

– Register yourself as delegate

– Stop the running Lisk node:

bash lisk.sh stop

– Open config.json:

nano config.json

– Arrow down until you find the following section:

“forging”:

Set the secret parameter to your account secret phrase.

“forging”:
“secret” : your secret with brackets and quotation marks

– After you have typed in your passphrase, including quotation marks Hit: Ctrl+ X Then: Y

– Start Lisk

bash lisk.sh start

– Login to your node via the browser and flick that forge switch !
