5 Days on Steemit | Initial Impressions and My Earnings

Just to catch you up if you missesd it Steemit is a blockchain based social media site with a Cryptocurrency called STEEM attached to it.

While you can buy it similar to how you can buy Bitcoin you can also earn it for free by creating content, upvoting content and commenting on other people’s posts.

In this video I give you a little walkthrough the site, show you what some other people are earning, hundreds and even thousands per blog post an in some cases $15, $20 even $150 for a single comment.

I basically just wanted to give you guys a peek at the site and show you what I’ve earned 5 days in. Nothing super impressive only about $30 if that but none the less I’m starting from scratch. Just like you guys with many projects I”m completely new, I don’t know what I’m doing, I’m learning and I’m starting from scratch int he sense I have no following on here and can’t really leverage my Youtube or other social media followings for this so starting from ground zero and was able to make $30 in my first 5 days.

My next goal is to hit $100 per month within the next 30 days and I want to be making $500 per month within 6 months. I’m going to do that by posting at least 7 posts per week, that’s one per day.

Now keep in mind this doesn’t have to be elaborate 20 page long posts, there’s an Instagram like app called Steepshot attached to Steemit where you can post pictures very similar to how you post a photo on Instagram so 7 pieces of content could be blog posts, could be videos or could just be a photo.
