Ripple has been around since 2012 and has established itself as a leading altcoin with its own unique technology and marketing strategy. The RippleNet has been developed along the lines of blockchains except it is marketed to marketed banks as an enterprise solution for cross border payments.
This network is steadily getting noticed and has now signed up 100 banks to its financial network including Bank of America and UBS. This growth is supporting the coin value which is up some 6500% but remains affordable under $1 per coin.
