Is litecoin going to boom in 2018?

With the latest news from Reddit announcing that Charles Lee had sold off all his own Litecoin that (very unfortunately) coincided with the concern over coinbase insider trading, litecoin is in for a rocky ride for a few days, i expect.

But when all the noise settles down and the fact that a Litecoin booms for 2018 is still a high probability (see disclaimer below) it’s not going to go anywhere as we’ve already come to far.

Litecoin predictions for 2018 vary widely between various investor sites and Charles Lee himself being very conservative about it.

In his announcement today he stated that owning a lot of Litecoins himself was a conflict of interests Lee has stated that he will benefit from Litecoin indirectly in many other ways.

Litecoin has a number of advantages over Bitcoin, as it was designed for use in small transactions and has a very fast transfer system, compared to Bitcoin, which when the network is saturated can take hours.

Litecoin might well be set for a massive rise as traders and investors buy and sell over the next days and weeks with all this high profile media on Litecoin and its founders moves.

Charles Lee has stated that he will still be completely supporting Litecoin’s development : “Don’t worry. I’m not quitting Litecoin,” he wrote.
