John Oliver’s Cryptocurrency Hit Piece?

A few people thought that this piece on bitcoin and cryptocurrencies from John Oliver on the most recent “This Week Tonight” was good exposure for cryptos. However, I think it missed the mark and potentially did more damage than good.

In this video I go over why I think John and his team provided what was at best a poor example of quality journalism and at worst was meant to inoculate the initiated against getting involved.
