Neo-Nazis hold festival in Germany for Hitler’s birthday – Daily Mail

Hundreds of neo-Nazis were massing Friday on Adolf Hitler’s birthday for a two-day festival in a remote eastern German town, near the Czech and Polish borders. Many of the mostly male right-wing extremists wore T-shirts with slogans such as ‘Keepers of the Race’, ‘White is my favourite colour’ and ‘Adolf was the best’ (pictured top left). About 1000 neo-Nazis were expected to take part, including many eastern European extremists. Merchanise seller Tommy, bottom left, said Germany’s biggest problem was ‘the uncontrolled influx of foreigners into our homeland’. Police were on hand to check the many stalls for illegal material, bottom right, while two counter-demonstrations took place in the nearby town of Ostritz.
