Today, we are going to be diving into the technology behind one of the few working NEO dAPPS Travala formerly know as Concierge. Yes, if you didn’t know concierge.io has recently reb-randed to travala.com!!!

What is the Travala platform?
A basic description is it’s a decentralized travel booking marketplace which will be in the form of a web platform as well as a decentralized application.
Travala consists of 3 layers. This first layer is the User layer and this is consisted of the dapp and the web platform. The second layer is the centralized frontend. This will allow the vendor to edit their listing databases on the fly, and thus reducing the high costs associated with keeping that data on the blockchain. Travala will be keeping user listing content such as pictures and videos on Travala servers. The last layer is the decentralized backend and this is the open source layer which will consist of the smart contracts and the blockchain.

In today’s video we will be going through their functioning minimum viable product (MVP) where we will book a hotel in Vietnam, using cryptocurrrency $AVA tokens.
