Today, we sit down for a nice chat with Dr. Colin Closser of the $NEO based Nep-5 token PeerAtlas.

PeerAtlas is a peer-reviewed, open-source medical encyclopedia that is supported by a digital token $ATLAS

The platform is assembling a digital encyclopedia full of peer-reviewed medical articles, as well as algorithms that medical providers can use to interpret new information and offer tailored care. To ensure full quality and accessibility, PeerAtlas will take advantage of:

1. Professional Publication- PeerAtlas will only allow verified medical professionals to publish information on the platform by using identity verification technology on the NEO blockchain. This ensures that new data comes from those who have the skills and training to offer it, limiting the potential for fraudulent or inaccurate information.

2. $ATLAS Token & Donations- To compensate medical professionals who publish on the platform, PeerAtlas is issuing its own token, $ATLAS. The $ATLAS token can be donated from the community directly to everyone involved in the content creation process. Medical providers who use the platform will also be able to redeem credits for continuing education for Atlas tokens. This obviates subscriptions, advertising, and other revenue-raising measures that might make the platform less accurate or accessible.

In addition to medical research and algorithms, PeerAtlas hopes to eventually gain access to electronic medical records (EMRs). If it is able to do so, the platform will take steps towards developing treatment recommendations tailored to each patient they serve.

2017 graduate of Ross University School of Medicine. A converted snowboard bum, he shifted his naturally intense focus towards helping others through medicine. After graduation, he began trading and due to frequent cross-platform trades requiring writing directly to blockchains, he quickly became acquainted with the shortcomings of the largest projects. These inspired him to design the ATLAS token.
