Coinbase have just announced that they are on track to becoming a regulated broker dealer, which is a huge development for the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry. Should they be approved, Coinbase will be regulated under the SEC to list and operate tokenised security markets, and this will hopefully provide some much needed clarity and positive sentiment to the cryptocurrency industry.
