Iota is a joey who was thrown from her pouch when her mum was chased by dogs onto the road.
She has gravel rash and abrasions all over her and she’s very bruised.
She was very alert and drank fairly well so she was given fluids and analgesia and cared for at Second Chances Sanctuary.
Update:
Her condition was iffy on day 2, and she was nearly taken for euthanasia but she remained alert, so she was given more time.
She died unexpectedly between feeds just after this.
