Summary: Because like Bitcoin in the early days, it stands for the anarcho-capitalist ideology of less government, more free enterprise and one can notice that in the strong passion, drive and evangelism it’s community has. It’s also a much easier sell than other coins. People only know Bitcoin, so trying to make them believe in another brand of coin is much more difficult. With Bitcoin Cash you can say it’s Bitcoin, but there are 2 bitcoins now as the project split in 2, but Bitcoin Cash is the better one because it is much cheaper per coin, has more potential to grow and win market share, has faster growth in amount of transactions & amount of merchants adopting it, and transactions fees will not go up in the future if it network would get busy again.
