Chicago Bitcoin Cash Meetup: September 2018

The first Chicago Bitcoin Cash Meetup was a smashing success with about 20 people joining the event and lots of people casually wandering in to learn about the power of peer-to-peer digital cash.

We discussed everything from the Satoshi Nakamoto white paper, to the basics of blockchain, mining and our favorite topic: BUSINESS.

The consensus of the Meetup was that it was so refreshing to not just be talking about DAPP development or cryptocurrency investment like “every other meetup.” The whole conversation was about main street commercial adoption of Bitcoin Cash around the whole world!

Bitcoin.com and the Bitcoin Cash Association were nice enough to send shirts, stickers and some BCH to circulate around the group, and we had a great time playing pin ball and billiards at the Chicago Emporium at Fulton Market.
