HTC Exodus Blockchain Smartphone, Bitcoin Diamond Pump & Dump? – Oct 24th Cryptocurrency News

This week Taiwan-based smartphone creator HTC unveiled its new smartphone, Exodus 1. It can only be purchased with bitcoin or ethereum.

Right now the phone can only be pre-ordered. Shipping will not begin before December. The phone will cost around 0.15 BTC, or 4.78 ETH, which is currently around $1,000. Exodus 1 will also have its own crypto wallet called Zion. This will allow it to serve as a hardware wallet as well. It can also store users’ cryptocurrency keys, and keep them protected from the rest of the operating system.

Bithumb the biggest exchange by volume in the world has announced that they plan to distribute Bitcoin Diamond to all Bitcoin holders from the hard fork in November.

On twitter Bithumb announced it is listing Bitcoin Diamond today. On Tuesday we saw Bitcoin Diamond jump higher, before falling into the red again today today.

Two of the biggest crypto companies cryptocurrency companies, Coinbase and Circle announced the launch of the USDC stable coin. Coinbase customers in supported jurisdictions can now buy, sell, send and receive the USD Coin stablecoin. The new USDC stablecoin is fully collateralized by US dollars and supported by Coinbase and Circle as co-founding members of the CENTRE Consortium.
