Coinbase Custody expands with Ripple (XRP) amid Ripple’s XRP United Announcement

There has been a fluery of development in the cryptocurrency markets these past weeks, without any significant price action. We are overall trending $10 billion dollars-ish more than we were at but it’s nothing to write home about. Despite Fidelity Investments, ICE, and others joining the cryptocurrency race.

Today we have news from Coinbase Custody services with an approval from a US regulatory body and the addition of XRP to it’s custodial services. Also RippleNet has announced the start of XRP United, an exchange that solely uses XRP for liquidity.

Also have news about Tether (USDT) destroying $500 million tokens. There is a lot of rumor and speculation surrounding Tether (USDT) and this move might have an impact on their future sentiment.

This is adding to the cryptocurrency news I gave you last week about Bakkt, Coinbase, Goldman Sachs, Fidelity and more getting involved in cryptocurrency services. It seems like pressure is mounting and Bitcoin (BTC) along with all the altcoins could be in for a wild ride!
