So the STX Duel 2 was just released, lets talk about it

Aesthetics – the face shape is largely the same, tight face shape with a high flair point, obviously ideal for faceoffs, the throat plug now tapers off and the add 2 sidewall holes on the left and right sides respectively

Scoop – STX got rid of the scalloped scoop which should add some stiffness as well they managed to add the Speed Scoop which is should be great for getting ground balls especially at awkward angles

Out of the gate, the head feels a bit stiffer so theres a chance it might last longer throughout the course of the season

Stringing – Stringing has been improved over the original, they added more sidewall holes so it should be easier to get a pattern down the 1st go around

This one is strung with STX super soft memory mesh, mid low pocket with a single hawaiian blue shooter, this should be a fantastic setup for the typical fogo
