2019 Ford Ranger XL STX Review | Can it Steal the Tacoma’s Crown?

After a long wait, the Ford Ranger returns and it might just be good enough to become the number one midsize sales leader. The Toyota Tacoma has held the crown for a while now, but the new Ranger is threatening. This 2019 Ford Ranger STX is the XL trim level which is technically the base, but it has a lot of options that bring the price up to $35k..which IMO is pretty steep considering it’s the “base” trim. Next up is the XLT and the Lariat but this Ranger packs several options that might just make it worth the price. Overall, Ford made this new 2019 Ranger just what it needed to be..capable. With the exception of a sole 4 cylinder option…I believe Ford nailed it with this midsize truck offering.
