Neo Geo Games on the Sega Dreamcast

Like many other systems before it, the Sega Dreamcast would play host to a number of games that first appeared on the Neo Geo. We go over those games here.

Episode Notes:
1. Each game captured on real hardware via RGB.

2. Opening and ending monologues are accompanied by the musical track ESAKA from KOF 98 and 2002.

3. I often leave little pronunciation errors in my work because I find them kinda humorous. I butchered horizontally in this one.

4. I also tend to time certain statements with an often contradictory video segment. I do that here a few times.

5. To my knowledge, not a single one of these games made an official European release.

6. Mark of the Wolves is one of my favorite Dreamcast games of all time.

7. Last Hope has a Neo Geo AES, Neo Geo CD, and Sega Dreamcast release.

8. After many years as SNK Playmore, the company is back to being just SNK, and is under new ownership.

9. These are wonderful alternatives to owning the originals, particularly the cheaper Japanese variants. Only the load times are a detraction.

10. I highly recommend an arcade stick for these games. The DC controller is quite rough with many of them.

11. NG DEV TEAM has a few other games that hit both the DC and Neo, such as Gunlord and Fast Striker. These games were sort of co-developed for the two platforms, though, and was less a case of being a Neo Geo game that was ported to the DC later. I do want to cover them eventually.
