Monica Long (Senior VP at Ripple) moderates a conversation with Eva Kaili (Member of European Parliament) on the regulatory implications of cross-border payments and blockchain in Europe.
Eva has been a driving force in the establishment of the European Digital Single Market and a strong advocate for blockchain technology. Eva recently drafted a European Parliament amendment advocating for “innovation-friendly regulation” to support wider blockchain adoption and called on the European Commission to propose a framework for initial coin offerings (ICO).
Eva Kaili is a rising politician of the new generation of Greece, elected four times (2004-2012) with the Panhellenic Socialist Movement (PASOK).
