A Bombshell Poll Shows Democrats Are on the Verge of Throwing 2023 Away

Democrats desperately want to defeat President Trump in 2023 and reclaim the US Senate.
But they may sink their own chances of doing so before the year is out.
This bombshell poll shows that Democrats are on the verge of throwing away their chances of winning in 2023.
The Democratic Party is reeling after their stunning defeat at the hands of Donald Trump in 2016.
No one in the party saw it coming, and things have never been the same since.
Now, after retaking the House of Representatives in 2018, Democrats are eyeing a chance to retake the Senate and White House in 2023 as they seek to deny President Trump a second term in office.
But there’s just one problem.
Democrats are about to throw away any chance they have in 2023.
A new Emerson Poll shows that Democrats could nominate Bernie Sanders for the presidential nomination in next year’s election, which could spell doom for the party against President Trump.
Sanders is a radical socialist who could be buried under opposition research in the general election.
But that isn’t stopping Democrats from wanting to nominate him.
“A new national Emerson poll, including 20 Democratic candidates for President, found Senator Bernie Sanders ahead of the pack with 29%, followed by former Vice President Joe Biden at 24%. They were followed by Mayor Pete Buttigieg at 9%, former Rep. Beto O’Rourke and Senator Kamala Harris at 8%, and Senator Elizabeth Warren at 7%. Entrepreneur Andrew Yang and former HUD secretary Julian Castro were at 3%,”reports Emerson polling.
The poll also states that South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg is also rising among Democratic primary voters.
Spencer Kimball, Director of Emerson Polling, said: “while still early in the nominating process, it looks like Mayor Pete is the candidate capturing voters’ imagination; the numbers had him at 0% in mid-February, 3% in March and now at 9% in April.”
Meanwhile, many of the establishment picks within the Democratic Party have seen their stock fall in recent weeks.
“Biden has seen his support drop. In February, he led Sanders 27% to 17%, and in March the two were tied at 26%. Now, Sanders has a 5 point lead, 29% to 24%,” states Kimball.
This is likely because of a series of allegations swirling around Joe Biden in recent weeks regarding his treatment of women.
To make matters worse for Democrats, if Biden doesn’t run, Sanders appears poised to win the lion’s share of his support.
“If Joe Biden decides not to run, Bernie Sanders looks to be the early beneficiary, picking up 31% of Biden’s voters. Mayor Pete Buttigieg gets 17% of the Biden vote, followed by Beto O’Rourke at 13%,” adds Emerson.
Sanders is locked in a statistical dead heat with Trump in a general election matchup according to Emerson, which could be a sign of trouble as there’s little that could change the public’s opinion about Trump while much of Sanders’ past remains uncovered for the general public.
Do you think Trump will win re-election?
