As seen on CoinMarketCap, Bitcoin (BTC) has increased by 0.34 percent. Ether (ETH) still maintains its “second in command” status, with great gains of 1.88 percent. Ripple’s XRP maintains the number three position, and it’s currently falling by 1.26 percent.

Now onto the news! According to a report by Invest In Blockchain, Weiss Rating has revealed that Microsoft may soon integrate the XRP TiPBot into its Skype communication app, making it possible for users to send micropayments and tip each other with the altcoin.

The XRP TipBot is already being used on several platforms. Interestingly, a Skype user has urged the Skype admin to integrate the XRP TipBot into the platform to allow users to seamlessly buy SkypeCredits, send micropayments and do more with XRP.

Now, onto the second news item for today! Per a Cryptoglobe report, Justin Sun, the founder of TRON has revealed that the number of active distributed applications (dApps) on its network may exceed 2,000 by the end of 2019, a strong indication that TRON is now gaining huge traction in the cryptospace.

Now, onto the third news item for today! XRP Payment App is now live on Apple iOS and Google Play. Individuals and merchants can now install the application on their mobile devices and use to send or accept XRP payments for products and services in real-time.
