Tezos Meetup Series: Amsterdam x Tezos – Real Estate On Blockchain

The first Tezos meetup in Amsterdam took place on May 2nd, sponsored by Tezos Commons. Tezos x Adopthon series is workshop that presents the participants a challenge on how they can solve it.

THE CHALLENGE: REAL ESTATE ON THE BLOCKCHAIN, inspired by Elevated Returns tokenizing $1 Billion on the Tezos Blockchain.

Tonight’s topic revolves around shared ownership of everyday assets on
the blockchain.

By putting assets such as art, real estate, farms, Ferrari’s and even windmills on the blockchain new opportunities are created where everyday people can have shared ownership & investment opportunities to expand their wealth possibilities.

For example, wealthy entrepreneurs see housing as investment vehicles, driving out the people that actually need to live there. At the same time, expensive houses like the Wielewaal, the former mansion of Frits Philips, take years to sell. Why should one person own such a building and why not a collective of people?

By levering the power of blockchain, individuals, from across the globe, can participate in shared ownership of such assets. Thereby creating increased opportunities for prosperity for the population at large.
