A common language for machines: new W3C consortium standard for IoT

The Internet of Things #IoT is about to make a big breakthrough. A new standard of the #W3C consortium will make it really take off. It’s called “Web of Things (WOT) Thing Description”. It has now been presented to the public at a conference at the Siemens research campus in Munich. Computer scientist and WWW pioneer Dave Ragget and other experts explain why the WOT Thing description standard of the W3C consortium will make complex IoT solutions much easier and faster to implement.
