At UFC 238, top strawweight contender Tatiana Suarez faces Nina Ansaroff in the main event of the ESPN portion of the preliminary card. This week she was part of a UFC-created media scrum and it was revealed she’s now working with Body Armor. What’s clear is that there’s organic interest around her and the UFC is clearly positioning her not merely for a title shot against champion Jessica Andrade if she wins, but a marketing push for stardom as well. I don’t think it’s fair to say she could be the next Ronda Rousey, but if she keeps winning in the way that she has, she could become something like it.
