Stratis – New Face [1983]

Found this one while record shopping earlier this year; the first ever standalone vinyl reissue. I try and keep an eye out for certain labels while i browse the crates, and Dark Entries is one of them. DE have proven to consistently surprise, and not once has a DE release let me down.
In this particular instance, Stratis is what caught my eye. An obscure electronic duo (Albert Klein and Antonios Stratis) from Cologne, Germany; boasting progressive minimal synthesis for the screen eaters of the future. Recorded in 1983, and perhaps even today, it’s still too early to be truly relevant.
