First Look: Steemit, an Epic Failure on My Behalf

Steemit is a social platform that pays you for interacting. However, the signup methods are much to be desired, and I’m not a fan of cryptocurrency.

I truly wanted to test Steemit out to see if it’s a viable method of really making money. The idea behind Steemit social media has potential, but the implementation needs a bit of work.

In my case, the failure happened when I forgot the password when setting up my account. And if you lose your password at any time, you’re pretty much done with the system. Currently, there are no obvious ways to recover an account of which you’ve lost the password.

In the meantime, I think I would rather spend my time working on things that I know will payout. I really don’t have the time to put into being active enough to make Steemit worthwhile.

If anyone knows of an easy way that I can get into my account, feel free to leave a comment. I would love to give this another First Look.
