The scary thing is EOS keeps improving so fast that by the time we hit the next bull run in crypto it will probably be capable of 500X what Ethereum is capable of. There is essentially no way that Ethereum can even come close to catching up to what the EOSIO software is capable of with the regular updates.
Of course with any technology there will be hurdles to overcome like the congestion on the chain right now but that is being addressed and ultimately all profitability will work its way to zero so with something like EIDOS once the situation creates a situation where it isn’t profitable people won’t do it as much and we will come up with solutions to mitigate that issue and other issues like it.
