As you already know if you follow my work and my channel here I have worked extensively with Canon’s LOG implementation on the 5D Mark IV DSLR and now here I offer you my very best efforts in setting up a clean and concise way to pull high quality and cinematic grades from the EOS R when using the increased dynamic range of the Cameras LOG capabilities. Honestly, once you get the hang of shooting and editing in LOG and with these Display LUT presets all setup properly by me and ready for you to use, you will learn to love the flexibility that LOG provides in a solid post production workflow. Whether you are already using or wanting to use Canon LOG for your vlogs or perhaps for commercial work, the EOS R’s LOG implementation is so close to it’s CINE line brothers (C100 and C200) that you will be blown away with the results you get from it when setup correctly and using the right camera settings whilst shooting. In this video I take you through the entire process and I show you how I use my GO TO CINE VLOG LUT that I have developed over the last year working extensively with the Canon EOS R’s LOG profile to create beautiful and cinematic vlog content.
