I have 30 days to test a Canon EOS Ra astrophotography camera before it goes back to Canon!
I attached this mirrorless camera to a large telescope for some deep-sky astrophotography from the backyard… here are my results.
The final image includes 40 x 4-minute exposures (2 Hours, 40-minutes total) – with 15 x 15-second exposures blended in for the core.
I converted the .CR3 files created by the EOS Ra to .TIFF files, and stacked them in DeepSkyStacker. Then, I processed the image in Adobe Photoshop 2023.
