Taiwanese Pork Donburi Challenge in Taipei w/ Raina & Zermatt Neo!!

A&Z #791 – Atlas, Raina Huang, and Zermatt Neo each vs the Taiwanese Pork Donburi Challenge at 一碗大滿足「燒丼株式會社」(Don Show Buri) in Taipei, Taiwan. Back in mid-October 2019, my younger sister Shelley and I flew to Seoul, South Korea to kick-off a 3-country Asia trip, and then we headed to Hanoi, Vietnam. Finally, we visited Taipei, Taiwan where I attempted 4 delicious food challenges. For event #3, we traveled to 一碗大滿足「燒丼株式會社」(Don Show Buri) in Taipei, Taiwan where we met up with my friends Raina Huang and Zermatt Neo (he came to meet up with us from Singapore). All 3 of us took on their 3kg Taiwanese Pork Donburi Challenge which was so delicious!! Each bowl had 1.7kg of white rice topped with 1.3kg of thin-sliced pork that was glazed with the best sauce ever. We each had 30 short minutes to finish and get our meals free. Don Show Buri’s 3kg Taiwanese Pork Donburi Challenge:

一碗大滿足「燒丼株式會社」(Don Show Buri) offers this challenge at all of their Taiwan locations. There is a giant bowl filled with 1.7kg of white rice, all topped with 1.3kg of glazed Taiwanese pork. The pork is seasoned with the most delicious sauce ever. Challengers have 30 minutes to finish the whole bowl topped with a handful of green onions. Losers must pay NT$ 1,520 (~$50 USD). Winners receive the meal free and their name and photo gets posted up on the location’s Wall of Fame. Unfortunately, there was no t-shirt 🙁
