MAX32520 Microcontroller with ChipDNA: Securing the IoT Cost Effectively

At Embedded World 2023, we caught up with Kristopher Ardis of Maxim Integrated, as part of our promotional coverage for the event.

He discusses Maxim’s ChipDNA key protection technology, which makes it virtually impossible for hackers to extract secrets from the MAX32520 microcontroller, so IoT deployments can remain safe in the field. Aside from being ultra-secure, MAX32520 is very approachable: big memory, a low power Cortex M4 core, accessible evaluation boards, and cost effective.
