The Ghostfire Kyber crystal is one of the most unique and rare lightsaber crystals in the galaxy, and were highly sought after by the more extreme members of the Jedi Order. These kyber crystals were incredibly dangerous because when placed in a lightsaber, they would produce almost no sound whatsoever, and would make the blade nearly invisible. So what is the Ghostfire Kyber crystal and why was it so hard to fight against.
I’m going to break down all of the features of lightsabers constructed with Ghostfire crystal and why many extreme Jedi loved them.
Ghostfire Kyber Crystals were transparent Crystals, just like all others used in lightsabers and only were found in extremely small deposits. They were usually found on mountain peaks in a handful of backwater, outer rim planets, making it difficult for Jedi to search for them. When they were discovered on top of these mountain peaks however, they usually were enclosed in transparent stones, barely visible to the eye of the average explorer.
