So, what exactly is dogecoin? This form of crypto currency has been around since its introduction in 2013. It was initially created as a “joke currency” but during last week it gained a lot of attention and rose 900% to trade at just below 8 cents per coin. While many believe the #dogecointoadollar is simply just a dream, after the crazy week of trading we experienced the past week, honestly it feels like anything is possible in this world currently run by the “memers” of the world.

At the time of recording this video, dogecoin has pulled back significantly to around 4 cents per coin, and will definitely remain volatile going forward (as is all crypto)

A big fan of the meme coin is our man Elon Musk. Elon has tweeted multiple times about dogecoin becoming a global currency in the future, but a big part of me believes this is one of Elon’s many meme supports.

So, will dogecoin reach $1? That’s anyone’s guess!
