PROTEAN is collaboratively developed by Centre of Excellence (CoE) together and Group Technical Data. A fully home-grown predictive maintenance remote monitoring system to identify anomalies trends, highlight potential incipient failures, and identify opportunities for reliability improvements subsequently alert the Assets for any changes or potential threat to the machine. Using the latest IoT connectivity and Process Information (PI) data, PROTEAN as one of the integral solutions provided at PETRONAS Upstream Digital Field can monitor up to 55 units of critical rotating equipment across 7 different regions including international assets.
