Ladies and gentlemen, Elon Musk has done it again. In a tweet sent out early this morning, Elon said that “SpaceX is going to put a literal Dogecoin on the literal moon.” The price of Dogecoin proceeded to increase by 35%, at one point going over 7 cents on a day many are calling “Doge Day.” This was a very encouraging spike to see after seeing the coin stagnate around the 5 cent range for a couple of months now. It’s great to see Musk continue to tweet about Dogecoin despite facing much criticism for those tweets, and I feel that that’s one of the reasons why many people love Elon, is because he really doesn’t care what other people think about him. While this tweet doesn’t mean anything for the actual use of the coin, it’s still refreshing to see another Dogecoin spike!
