What is it? How does it work? What are the differences between other platforms?

IOTA is a unique Distributed Ledger Technology that uses the “Tangle” instead of a traditional Blockchain to overcome the drawbacks of blockchains. It is a feeless cryptocurrency network that can currently sustain hundreds of transactions per second and is at the brink of its most major update so far, called “Chrysalis”. IOTA made a few controversial design decisions in its early development, but has matured since then and is now entering an enterprise ready level, based on industry standards.

Join us in this meetup to hear from the IOTA Foundation itself, about making early mistakes, learning from them, the upcoming solutions and how they went from being a controversial cryptocurrency to a mature organization and technology.
