Last year’s XTZ Sound EDGE A2-300 review, that at the time retailed for less than $500, making it an insane value among higher powered stereo amplifiers. The EDGE A2-300 proved to be a fantastic budget audiophile amplifier and was so good, we made it one of our reference stereo amps, and use it to this day. Now, there’s a new, more powerful amplifier from XTZ, the A2-400, a class D ice power amplifier. But is it worth DOUBLE the price? Is XTZ better than Crown which is still to this day one of the best digital amplifier for the money?
