We are keeping a careful eye on our covid infection rate. It’s monitored primarily through the number of positive covid tests every day. Seven day rolling averages give us an idea of rising number trends. But testing waste water for vestiges of the virus expelled from the human body is a key early warning system and a way to identify hotspot areas.
