Since its introduction, the EOS C70 4K Digital Cinema Camera has been the buzz of the industry, delivering stunning imagery in a compact body. Now, Canon’s first RF-mount cinema camera is getting even better, with a firmware update that adds functionality and improves performance.
A BT.709 option has been added, and a new View Assist feature allows for a WideDR/BT.709 LUT to be displayed over HDMI when shooting in Canon Log gamma. For your autofocus needs, a new “whole area” option increases the AF area to 80% of the frame. The update also improves the Electronic IS performance, giving you rock steady images even in challenging conditions.
For EF lens owners, we’ve added full adapter compatibility for 7 more lenses! This empowers Dual Pixel CMOS AF, optical corrections, and metadata transmission.
