Naa Aana Is Des Laado is a social drama that raises its voice against the oppression of women in the Indian hinterlands. The story revolves around Veerpur’s powerful matriarch, Ammaji, who believes and propagates the absolute suppression of women. But challenging Ammaji’s rigid and archaic beliefs, are her own grand-daughters. What ensues is a battle between two opposing ideologies, a war between regressive traditions and progressive values.
