In this video I will compare mining hashrate and profitability for over 20 coins on LHR vs NON-LHR graphics cards. LHR, short for Light HashRate, is a mining limiter Nvidia has been putting into their new 30-series GPUs like the RTX 3060, 3060ti, 3070, 3070ti, 3080 & 3080ti. The limiter was rumoured to only limit the hashrate for Ethereum mining, but since coming out there’s been conflicting data on what other coins might be affected. Since Ethereum mining will end fairly soon, after the merge with ETH2.0, it would be good to establish if LHR actually will matter after then. So in this video I take a deep dive into establishing exactly which coins are affected by LHR by comparing 2 identical RTX 3070s, just that one is LHR and one is NON-LHR. In the video, I compare the hashrate and profitability for mining over 20 different cryptocurrency coins. I already compared Ethereum (ETH), Ethereum Classic (ETC), Ergo & Ravencoin (RVN) in my previous video on LHR vs NON-LHR. In this video I start out by comparing the two graphics cards for mining of ZANO, Veriblock, SERO and Aeternity. After this I move on to mine BEAM, Ubiq, Vertcoin, AION and Bitcoin Gold in order to see if mining of those coins are affected by LHR. I also try mining Ycash, FLUX & BitTube Cash to compare them between the LHR and NON-LHR GPUs. Finally, I compare the two graphics cards by mining GRIN, Zclassic & MimbleWimbleCoin to see if Nvidia’s hashrate limiter affects mining of those coins.
