വൽസൻ …ഗോതമ്പിൽ ഒരു എളുപ്പ പലഹാരം |Ila ada|Vazhayila ada|elayappam

Ingredients

Wheat flour- 1 cup
Jaggery- for the sweetness
GRated coconut- as required
Cardamom powder- 1/2 teaspoon
Salt- a pinch
Water- as required
Banana leaves- as required

In a bowl ,add wheat flour,requred salt and water.

Make a dough little more loose than chapati dough.

In a plate,mix coconut,cardamom powder and jaggery .

Take a banana leaf,dip your fingers in plain water.

Take a ball shaped dough and spread on the leaf.

Spread coconut mix on one side.

Fold it to the other side.

Heat water in a steamer on a high flame.
When the waer starts to boil,place ada on that and close it
Cook it for 10 to 15 minutes on a high flame.
Turn off the flame and remove the cooked ada from the steamer.
