We will re-assembly it as has never been opened before
To make it looks as has not opened, you need to keep the original stamp. My trick is using hair dryer and factor knife to tear it out
Now it is easy to tear the sticker out
We will keep it then stick back after WiFi router teardown and make it look normal
Now we can un-screw the philip screws
If you mind keeping the case un-scratched, use a plastic card such as old credit card to open it
Ofcourse a flat screw driver can do faster
The aluminum case is actually heat radiator that is why you can feel it hot during your AntRouter working
Bitmain AntRouter R1-LTC can work as access point or router but its WiFi antenna is a bit small
only 2 dBi so with Wi-Fi power of 27 dBm equal to 501 mW, I will upgrade AntRouter to 16dBi high gain antenna in my next project
WiFi module supports the 2.4G WiFi standard and a WiFi speed up to 150Mbps is put in opposite conner the case
Almost all space in side is used for power converter and The BM1485 ASIC chip that gives hashrate of 1.29MH/s
You can not earn for a living from the mining wifi router, but it brings you a chance every 2.5 minutes to win 25 Litecoins!
Although the R1-LTC has only been tested to mine Litecoin, it can theoretically mine any Scrypt coin!
The built-in USB port of the AntRouter R1-LTC makes it more useful as you can charge your phone or other digital devices
Now we will close the case and make it works

To configure your AntRouter R1-LTC WiFi router to mines Litecoin, connect to its WiFi then access 192.168.200.1
Login with user: root and password: root
Under miner tab, you can see antminer configuration with default Bitmain accounts

Now you can choose R1-LTC Configuration tab and re-config it with your workers
I add my worker named WifiMarketingSolution
Now just click Save&Apply then wait for a while

My status is now Alive
