The path of least resistance was always to ultimately get under the ROI from the prior market cycle, as measured from the market cycle bottom. While extrapolation from a few data points is dubious, it is all we really have to work off of at this point. This is why we should remember to keep an open mind as we continue to navigate the next several months.
