In this video we continue the dicussion on ETN fork
A while back I made a video that electroneum net work was in trouble. Well, if haven’t watched that video I will link it in the description below. I followed up with post fork updates where we discussed the fact that the etn team have bought hash power from nanopool and are essentially mining empty blocks so that we can get to block 307575 where the network difficulty will recalculate the difficulty based on the last 75 mined blocks post fork. This action was expected to drastically reduce the network difficulty making it profitable for GPU miners to mine etn coins again and reduce the block times significantly.

Now during this period no transactions were process and everything was kept in a mempool awaiting network normalization to be attained for transaction to be processed.
If you made a transaction during that time and it took forever to complete this was the reason why.

Its only fair that I update you now that the network has reach block 307575 and passed about whether this fix has worked and it implications on price right after the break so stay tuned.

If you can see from the electroneum block explore we are currently on block 308000 and the block times are now down from over 24 hrs after the fork to about 30 mins and it will keep coming down till he attain a super fast 2 mins block which is essential. Why is this important?
Because electroneum is targeting mass adoption hence a fast block chain is vital. You will also realize that that there are still some empty block being mined because the help we got from nanopool is still in effect and has not been removed just yet.
I presume the ETN team will remove this very soon when we are close to the desired 2 minutes block times because this gets us there faster.

Now what is the effect of this on difficulty currently…Well see for yourself in this difficulty chart from the difficultychart.com. I will link it below for your viewing pleasure.

As you can see the difficulty has indeed dropped about 90% already from a peak difficulty of 180 G to 16 Gh. That is the yellow line here. The net hash is also holding steady at 278MH/s
So, has plan by worked an emphatic and resounding YES.
So what next for electroneum after this
1. Expect new partnerships to be announced with Telcos
2. Expect new listing on bigger exchanges
3. Expect higher transaction volumes
4. Expect the massive sell walls to vanish from the current exchanges

And lastly more importantly expect the PRICE TO START GOING UP AND STAYING UP. Just in time of the impending 2018 Q3 and Q4 bull run that happens every year in crypto.
But I must say we have to be patient for Richard elis to bring this ship home. I am convinced that the lambos will come but we have to be patient. Electroneum is a 3 to 4 year hold.

It is very cheap at 2 cents right now. If you thinking about going into crypto ETN is certainly one of the tops projects to look into buying right now. Its got support at 2 cents for so long so if you buy in now you will be buying in at the basement bottom which is a good thing in crypto.
