Founded in 1940, and opened to the general public in 1970, the American Diabetes Association says their mission is to prevent and cure Diabetes. However, their Official Guidelines, and food recommendations, seem to be doing the opposite.
52.3% of U.S. adults are now either diabetic or pre-diabetic, over HALF of the adult population! It seems the ADA is failing miserably at their mission. Should we blame this terrible statistic on the sloth and gluttony of the average U.S. Adult, or should the A.D.A. take the blame?
Here is the “Super-Foods” list actually recommended to diabetics on the A.D.A. website: http://www.diabetes.org/food-and-fitness/food/what-can-i-eat/making-healthy-food-choices/diabetes-superfoods.html?loc=ff-slabnav . 6 out of 10 of these “super-foods” will immediately raise a diabetics blood sugar…

Please don’t blindly believe me, or Dr Hallberg. Every diabetic should do their own learning and research into these important questions, and decide which diet will keep their blood sugar and A1c lower, and which diet will decrease the risk of diabetic complications.
