This is the first tournament of the season and is the third annual tournament at the Benton County Fair Grounds. Come early or stay late and enjoy the fair atmosphere with rides, food, and fun! We will be in the Discovery Building at the Fair Grounds. Admission to the fair is free, there is street parking that is free, but pay parking is available.
There are 5 CREATE US Open Qualification Spots for this tournament!
1 Excellence Award winner
1 Design Award winner
2 Tournament Champions
1 Robot Skills Champion
The same 5 awards above will qualify Minnesota teams for State Championship. There is new qualifying criteria this season (check the Documents tab) so all 5 Minnesota State Championship qualification spots will go to Minnesota teams. If there are double-qualifications or out-of-state teams that win qualifying awards, the invitations will go to Minnesota teams ranked on the Robot Skills list for this event. Those invitations will go out the week after the event.
