They dont want you to see the other parts of Haiti. If you don’t know, I am of Haitian decent. Haiti was recently in the news once again for something negative (the alleged “Shithole” country comments that Trump may or may not have said. Whether he said it or not doesnt even matter. It’s the way many people LIKE him feel… & it’s evident when you see comments from miserable people living in their own problems take shots at a poor nation that was is in the state it is because of what the USA & France did (they dont teach this in schools) & the residual effects that led to corruption… Shout out to Conan Obrien who went out to Haiti a couple of months ago and showed the beauty & potential of its land & people. You also notice how hateful & ignorant people are by going through his comments on instagram,youtube,facebook as he was uploading that great content. ?? Im so glad Conan continues to stretch this Haiti series out in segments to further piss off the bigots who only want to see negativity & poverty as if beautiful people, music, art, food, etc dont exist or come from Haiti.?????? Why are there so many Butthurt ass Americans on Conan’s social media posts about Haiti being all negative? They’ve already been force fed Haiti’s poverty statistics for decades… don’t yall get tired of that? If a journalist decided to post somehing positive, it really triggers you? Conan stayed somewhere nice and traveled to different nice parts to shine some light on beautiful people/culture/land. They act as if he was supposed to land there and stay in a hut and eat mud (since thats the ONLY thing ‘mericans love to be fed about a place like Haiti… how DARE he show another perspective?). Butthurt ass Americans ASSume that Haiti only has (1) nice area to stay at. These videos were actually shot around common areas in the city… not a resort. Butthurt ass Americans say things like “if its so nice, why dont you live there? why do people leave it?” … ummm the same reasons your euro/slavic/nordic ancestors decided to leave their oppressive shitholes & cross an ocean to come kill a bunch of natives, call the land their own, & in 2018 still have shitholes here. Look at the south. Look at Alabama/Mississippi. Look at Appalachia. People live in tent villages in Orange County, California… I dont see media showing that to other countries to show the USA. Look at Detroit & half of Michigan. This country has people drinking and batching in rusty brown contaminated water. I bet a bunch of these hateful ass commenters are typing from their own shitholes. Their bank accounts are shitty & they’re 3 or less missed paychecks from being out on the streets themselves. ANNNNYways lets get away from the negative for a while & focus on what Haiti does have besides what ignorant people learn & see about it since most journalists & media outlets only focus on the negative. Lets also see other common parts. Lets see the people, the culture, the music, etc… heres part 1.
