The Canon EOS RP was announced, and I’m upset. This isn’t a review, but my though on the latest Canon R mount camera.

When they announced the Canon EOS RP I started out really excited about it. I thought it looked like phenomenal value. In fact, that’s what made me so mad. It’s TOO good. It’s going to be the highest selling mirrorless camera on the market, in my opinion. The Canon RP will fly off the shelves. It’s the first Canon mirrorless full frame camera that was build to the average consumer. Hence the “P” designation which refers to “populaire”.
Will I buy the Canon EOS RP? Well, probably. I think this is going to be an extremely good camera for vlogging. And, with a full frame sensor it has the potential to also work for stills in situations like street photography where you want to be a bit more discreet.
I think the EOS RP is going to be huge for Canon.
So, find out what I do with this mirrorless camera when I get it into my hands in the near future.
