DigiByte an open source decentralized cybersecurity public protocol and cryptocurrency. DGB was never an ICO and is a public blockchain with no central ownership. There is no CEO, and is only developed by a non-profit foundation. Being that DigiByte is mined over time it would be considered under the same category as Bitcoin – i.e. DGB is not a security.
DigiByte is currently 40X faster than Bitcoin, has transactions fees under one hundredth of a cent, and is one of the most decentralized blockchains in the world with over 300 000 nodes. This thanks to the fair mining philosophy ensured by our five mining algorithms.
DigiByte has constantly been releasing upgrades and free to use cybersecurity protocols such as Digi-ID (www.digi-id.io) or DigiAssets free to use open source and public.
